Hi guys a question or two.
I have a 1974 450 scrambler/jupiter and am looking for a wiring schematic for it. I have a bunch from on-line and a few from manuals but none seem to be correct to the harness. The harness is oem but is in need of repairs I sure would like a road map. Also what should this bike have 12 volt or 6 volt system? it is also an electronic ignition (non- points) and a red ducati electronica ignition box/coil unit.

Is there a place on this site where schematics are located or I could add what I have? It has been like a black hole so far finding information on this bike even having what was supposed to be the owners manual did not have the right schematic.

Thanks

6 volt is standard.
The Haynes manual has the wiring diagram for the Ducati Electronica ignition (and the Motoplat)
If you change the regulator for a 12 volt and the bulbs you can run 12 volt if that is what you want to do. The ignition can stay as is.

Classic Ducati and Italian Motorbikes sell a new harness for that bike if you are interested.
Here is a link to a picture of the schematic that Italian Motorbikes has

Thank you for the replies.
I do have the Italian motorbikes harness but unfortunately for me it is not correct for this bike . In the end I ended stripping the original harness and am replacing wires one by one.

I am glad the bike is 6 volt as that's the only schematics I can find. It is not perfect but I am still forging ahead.
