2.75" or 3.00" tires Heidenau?

Question on tire sizes.
I am building a wide case 350 with 18" WM2 rims. Should I use a 2.75" front tire with a 3.00" rear? Or should I use a 3.00" front and rear? Any advantages/disadvantages to using a small front?

I'm also thinking about Heidenau K33 and K39 tires. Any experience with these?

Not used them myself, but have seen them on a few Ducati singles in the UK. Lance Johnston (Fentiger Classics) fits them so might be worth asking him. I know the race tyres are well thought of so I guess if they can make race tyres..........

The K65 looks a bit more sporty for the rear but it depends what you are looking for. They don't state fitment so I guess they must be universal. Best drop them an email for fitments.

German tyres made for the European market seem a better bet than the far east commuter offerings to me. Sometimes you just have to be different :-)

My Widecase 350 sits on BT45 Bridgestones on oversize rims, but I will be trying Heidenau's myself when I get one of my many restoration jobs up and running, one day....

for what it's worth, I just ordered a Vee Rubber VRM-011for my Monza. It seems nearly impossible to find a ribbed pattern in 2.75"x18" so when it came up, I jumped on the chance. Hopefully, it's worthy of my $.
