Sorry all, but this is very basic..
Can't seem to get my fork leg (31.5 Marz) drain bolt crush washers to seal.. tried to reuse the old ones(!), but no. tried neopreme washers, no.. flat copper washers...no. flat copper washers w/ stock used fiber washer under it/ no.
so now thinking that new stock fiber washers would probably be the answer..( should have just started w/ that, but thought maybe first quick easy alternative, locally: Ace Hdwre? NAPA?. see above.)
does anyone know where to acquire them?? or perhaps an alternate?? part #?
thanks in advance for noob questions.

Re: Crush washer question..
Have you tried bonded metal/rubber seals?
For example Stat-o-seal, Dowty seal, Usit ring.

Re: Crush washer question..
that's odd, I've never had a problem with getting a fiber or aluminum washer to seal.
are your threads good? do you have the right screw?

yeah, seemed odd to me also..
since your post, i checked threads,faces..bolts are both the same.. everything good shape..nothing stripped...
ordering the stat-o-seals tomorrow.
will replace the oil plug washers too..
