2013 Motogiro East

Postby fhauler » Thu Apr 25, 2013 1:50 pm

Headed to Jiminy Peak Mass. for my seventh USCRA Motogiro next weekend. Riding the bitsa 250. Have nearly 1,000 miles on her since completion last August. Will be adding another 300 at the giro. There will be about 120 riders in the two day event. Becoming very popular!

Here are a few photos of the MacGiro only in its second year organised by one of the Scottish Ducati club members may be of interest to some. http://www.ducati-upnorth.com/forum/sho ... ht=macgiro

Sam,

Loved your pictures from the Scottish Motogiro! I was pretty happy with my finish being 32nd out of 120. Must work on my low speed agility. Goggle Motogiro East for pictures of this and older events. Our giro bikes must be 1968 or earlier and 305 cc or smaller. They run the gamut from fresh barn finds to near concours. 300 miles on single lane asphalt, gravel and dirt takes its' toll. I will need to adjust shifter, replace shocks, rebuild left front fork and find fault in lighting before the next Motogiro in Maine. All fun!

Cheers,
Doug
