Hi Guys,
I have searched the site to the best of my limited ablilities but have come up with nothing. I am trying to find the correct oil quantiy for a 250 narrow case.
The printed material I have has conflicting info:
Clymer manual = 2.4 liters or 2.5 quarts
Mick Walker = 2.1 liters or 3.75 pints
Thanks in advance for any feedback
Jim

Re: Engine oil quantity??
it's 2.4L or 2.536 Quarts
I would always follow what the Clymer manual says if I were you. Clymer not only published the manual i think you are refering to but they also published
all of the "factory manuals" I have. The Mick Walker book I think you are referring to is loaded with inaccuracies, thats just one more I guess.
I have that Clymer Manual and have noted no differences between it and the regular "factory manual"

Re: Engine oil quantity??
In the various owners manuals I have, which between them cover the GT, Monza, Diana, Daytona, Mach 1, Mark III and Motocross, the answer is as amartina75, namely:
"The sump capacity is of about 2 Kg (4,409 lb) = lt 2.400 (0.6334 gall. USA = 0.5279 imp. gall)".
(You might like to note the "of about". Just fill to the mark on the dipstick
.)
Ciao
