correct spark plug for a 1966 Ducati Monza?
What is the correct spark plug for a 1966 Ducati Monza? I have been using an NGK B7HS (or B8HS) with a gap of .026 to .028. Is this correct?

____ Yes, your stated info seems to have come from a good source.Chuck wrote:What is the correct spark plug for a 1966 Ducati Monza? I have been using an NGK B7HS (or B8HS) with a gap of .026 to .028. Is this correct?
However the 'B8HS' would be apt to become fouled if the engine is not constantly ran hard.
And conversely, if you baby your motor (and thus keep the engine running on the cool side), then I'd suggest a 'BP6HS' s.plug, (as the hotter heat-range will keep the plug-nose clean enough to then trust a larger gap [of .029 - .032"] ).
