rockers and cams

Thought some of you might enjoy pictures from a couple of 'ran when I took it apart' heads I bought. Most of the parts are in worse condition than the cams and rockers. Plus, one of the rocker shafts was installed threaded end first- had to silver solder a washer and nut onto the shaft to get it out far enough to weld a bigger nut on it and pull the shaft out.
The good news is that while searching for 175/200 parts I've bought a big pile of 250/350/450 parts in great shape, so not a waste of time.
I've decided to shift the decimal point to the right on the budget for my 175/200 project.
I don't want to sound superior, or make fun of anyone, but you'd think these engines would have given some indication that they needed attention.
I'm off tomorrow to look at another pile of abandoned Ducati parts.
