Congratulations that is a stunning piece of work....that really is a piece of automotive art, it will be a pity to dirty it, but who could resist riding this as intended, I owned a scaggy one of these when I was 17 years old and thrashed the living daylights out of it....that was the bike that started my life long passion for Ducati singles, be safe and enjoy.
Cheers,
George

A very clean and tidy job Brian, congratulations. Once all the bureaucratic bumph is sorted I hope that you enjoy giving it a whirl for many moons to come.

Shame about the weather for the rest of the week.

Good health, Bill

Congratulations Brian, it is exceptional. The colours look true: I had mine matched to an area under the swing-arm and another under the seat as both had retained gloss and not faded.

Very nice - better job than mine! Hope you enjoy riding it.

2 questions:
Is that an external oil feed up to the camshaft?

Who did your seat? I am doing a DIY restoration on mine at the moment. The only part I can’t see a method for is the stitching round the edge which goes through both the cover and the rubber underneath.

'Is that an external oil feed up to the camshaft?'
I was wondering that - it looks like plumbing for an oil filter.
