Hi Peter,
Classic Transfers in the UK produce a vinyl Ducati and a Vento adhesive in the font you require.
They also make the 'Made in Spain DUCATI Made in Spain ' adhesive for the wheel rims if you need them.

And that is thanks to Jon - he's too modest to say it himself.

Excellent quality water slide transfers, that are relatively easy to apply and don't react to the lacquers used these days. DO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED!
Being a Philistine I used a REF: 0077 on the tank of my '74 450 MKIII, I think it just looks "right"!

On the Vento, can someone please remind me of the size hex head needed to remove the timing access bolt thingie on the LHS? So that I can stick a degree wheel on.
And do I need to buy an Allen key of that size or can a bolt head be used?
Thanks
Peter.

Aye Peter,
See attached image of a scan of my home made tool.
14mm across the flats, is the size of the hollow hex in the brass timing plug on the left-hand outer case.
Not having a 14mm hex key meant brazing up a 15mm nut and bolt and then filing the head of the bolt to fit. Being brass, the hollow hex maybe worn or deformed and consequently a true 14mm hex may prove a sloppy fit. I just use a 15mm ring spanner on the nut and have not had any problems using the tool.
I hope this helps.
Good health, Bill

Thank you.
The annoying thing is I have a spark plug tool with a 14mm hex head on it that would be perfect but I can't find it anywhere.

If you chop a piece from a 14mm Allen key, you can use it with a spanner, and it's a good small size for your bike's tool roll.

Re: Project Vento has begun: help wanted.
Does anyone know what size are the tiny nut and bolt that do the electrical connections to the points on a Vento? My smallest wrench is 6mm but seems too big on the nut. Or is just my bad eyes?
