I will try find full circlips to see if they are too close to the stanchions.
Can anyone tell me if the "cups" at the top of the springs are original fitment and if s0 which way up would they go
I forgot to take a photo at the time.

Hi Alex,
They are preload spacers and should be there, however you can play with these a little using longer or shorter ones to change the spring loading depending on your weight. pretty sure these go with the rounded end against the alloy top nuts.
