Hey Joe,
Sounds like you’re on the right track. According to some of the components you’ve identified, your SCR seems to be a ’65. The SS1 27D is the correct carb. Forks should be the Ducati alloy slider type used on all the N/C 250/350’s, so steel slider’s aren’t correct. Most rough unrestored SCR’s I’ve seen have very rusty forks since the shrouds tend to collect water. The original tubes aren’t hard chromed so everything rusts together. Usually all that’s salvageable is the slider, damper valve and damper rod, so you’re not much worse off than if it had correct forks. You can get new Tarozzi fork tubes from Fast From the Past and not have to mess with buying a set of marginal used tubes and chroming. BTW, what does your hard chromer charge to replate fork tubes? All the places I’ve contacted want $125-$150 or won’t touch fork tubes at all. The Tarozzi tubes cost about that! The headlight you have sounds correct for a SCR. Should have sort of a chevron shape pressed into the top in front of the speedo hole. There were a few variations of light/key holes, since this H/L was used on other models (Bronco’s, maybe 160’s?). SCR’s didn’t have centerstands, just the sidestand mounted to the front engine mounting plate. I’m interested in the exhaust (if it’s a kit megaphone) if just for the pattern and to see how it’s fabricated. Jim has posted some excellent info on this but there’s nothing like having one in hand. The SCR pipe I’m offering isn’t in any better shape; could be used as a pattern or put right with work. Matt

Re: Adding Another Duke to the Stable...
Hey Matt...Ill send some pics of the megaphone soon, really busy at work. Looking at photos in old n/c manuals I believe the forks/tubes to be from a 160 monza jr. ? the triple tree is definitely not though, it is the correct triple. I do have that style bullet headlamp. I guess I assumed the (very small) holes where for indicator lights, but I guess they could be for h/l switch, and key switch, the older type, when the key didnt really look like a key. But this would mean that there would have been no high beam indicator, which it possibly never had anyway ? and no charge ind. light, which I assume it didnt have or need since it didnt have battery ignition, a regulator etc...and it has the correct a/c green code ign coil on it.
Too many projects to list...
