These look to me to be the stock fitment to Mach 1 and Mark 3s and probably others as well.
Mine did not look much better when I started. They are easy to disassemble and refurbish, the springs can be re-chromed which is what I had done to mine. There are three loading adjustment levels too.

Re: Rear shocks
Well, I finally broke down and ordered a set of Ikon's. Both the Hagon's and the Ikons were appealing to me. Both companies have US reps. Both companies are willing to custom build the shocks to your specifications as they pertain to length and springs. The standard shocks from Hagon would have been $100 cheaper and I am sure would have done the trick. Ikons bottom line have a 4 postition dampening adjustment so don't really have a comparable shock to the Hagon entry level shock.
I got mine at 12.5 inches and don't know the specs on the springs, but they were well versed in the weights of the Duc singles and I told them my weight and intended use and they seem appropriate. on the fully extended pre load they work great. compliant but controlled. A marked improvement on bumpy sweepers. they have a chrome body with black springs and though not quite a period as the Hagons, are not visually distracting and seem right to me.
And I want to thank everyone for their help in my shock search. All the input was considered and very helpful.
Now I need to find a source for 10mm x1 acorn nuts that don't cost rediculous money.

thanks for bumping this thread up. I am not the guy to ask on this but there are several here that are.
I'm chiming in to ask if anyone knows where to get the acorn nuts at a reasonable price? My searches have found that I need to buy 100+ to get a reasonable per nut price or they are silly expensive for 4.

Yeah I have tried them and countless other online sources. I guess I need to work more overseas sources. many will have the M10, but not the 1mm thread pitch.

Re: Rear shocks
Seems my old Koni shocks 76f 1277 are not only incorrect for my scrambler but there is no rebuild support anymore.
Just ordered a set of 14kg,310mm shocks from Hagon, i went with chrome springs. The person at Hagon was one of the nicest, most helpful from a company ive ever dealt with.. Cant wait to get them next week.

Wondering how the hagons are treating you.
also, wondering if the Ikon reps would provide a rebuild of your koni's. I thought that I read they are the same shocks but under a new name made in Australia.

Re: Rear shocks
Hey MM,
The Hagons worked out really well. Havent had much time to play with the compression adjustment. But it feels pretty good right out of the box. The bike handles and tracks WAY better than it did before. The difference was night and day.
I was told by IKON that there was no support for rebuild parts for my shocks. But i am told that the main thing that goes wrong with them is a plastic washer that gets gummed up and can be cleaned out. The old Konis are black, the Hagons are chrome and the chrome is really growing on me.

Hey MM,
What did you end up doing for those acorn nuts? I am interested in 4.
