My friend and I were prying an old tire off this aluminum rim and one of the tire irons put a good size kink in the edge of the rim.
Do I just use a pliers and pend it back, or tap it with a rubber mallet? Or is there a better way to implement a repair?

Re: Rim wreckers
Hey Jim,
I would use a rubber mallet. Put a block of wood on the other side of the piece you are about to smack. I would think pliers on that aluminum would be worse trouble. If you take it easy, I bet you can work it out and barely notice.
