That all makes sense.
I've asked Ian if he can supply the bits I need.
There is nothing written on top of my slide apart from a cast in raised"1"
The numbers I quoted are stambed into the face closest to the head.

Changed the slide to 6mm and the needle jet to 265T and that seems to have sorted most problems.
I did a big end on my '74 desmo on the Moto giro, so I took it home and picked up the RT.
These things handle really well, maybe better than the road bikes.
It ran very well, thanks for the advice re the carb set up.
