Hey guys,
Still waiting patiently for my M1 to arrive from Canada. Should be early August.
In the meantime, because I know from experience that Ducati's can be quite unreliable, I want to start assembling a small toolkit to keep with me while I'm out on the bike. Only things that can fit in the side-cover tool boxes.
Would you guys mind giving me an idea of some handy tools to keep in the toolboxes and some spare parts?
I'll definitely get a spare spark plug (and a small plug spanner) but I'm not sure what the part number is for a Mach 1 plug. Anyone have an idea?
Cheers guys, appreciate the feedback and ideas.
Nathan

Re: Mach 1 Toolkit
Plug and shorty 3/8th ratchet with deep plug socket ,allen key, adjustable wrench to tighten carb nuts ,screwdriver for points, spare nipple for brake and clutch cables,Clutch arm wired with lockwire so if the cable breaks you dont loose the short pushrod, feeler gauge, pliers, waterproof bags as the boxes leak, spare rear bulb .I also fit in a short ring that fits axle nuts, spare ignition key,bit of rag to clean oil off points.Mobile phone and recovery number. The only thing i've actually needed has been a soft plug to get me going after oiling up.
