I know we have had posts a long time ago about 2.50 - 18 front tire availability. Nothing recent that I can find.
All my web searching finds scooter tires, that I'm not sure about.
Anyone know a supplier of a proper motorcycle tire 2.50-18?
thanks
David

Aye David,
I realise that you are in the US and that tyre supplies will be different, but from a European/UK view, MITAS, Continental and Heidenau all are still producing 2.50 x 18 front/rear tyres. Of the 3 manufacturers I would suggest that the Continental would be the softest and the Heidenau the hardest, the latter also tend to have strong sidewalls that make them difficult to fit and get the bead to seat. However, if that is all that you can get and you want to ride the machine that's what you'll fit.
Here is a current link to a European/UK tyre supplier: Moto-tyres.co.uk_2.50x18_tyres
I run a 2.75 x 18 front tyre on my 450 MKIII, with Marzocchi 35mm forks and Grimeca twin sided drum brake, this size gives you a wider range of potential tyre choices and a wee bit more rubber on the road.
Hope you find something to your liking.
Good health, BillR

The best quality small size tyres I have ever found are Metzeler ME22, I have been using these for years great value, brilliant road holding under even extreme riding situations.......can't fault them.
