Postby DBDBrian » Sun Apr 14, 2024 6:58 pm

Does anyone know if the old logo DUCATI MECCANICA caps are still available, I have searched the internet without success ?
Thanks

Might sound daft.... but look on Vinted. I bought a lovely DUCATI MECCANICA long sleeve sweatshirt in very good condition for about £7 plus postage (about £2.50). I had a quick look just now, and there was only had modern DUCATI caps, but somebody might just be about to put "that dusty old cap sitting in the corner" on, as I type this. Unlike Ebay you're not competing in an auction, but you have to keep your eyes peeled.....

Can you get the badge somewhere instead? And the sew it onto a plain hat.

Thanks both for your input, the sew on cloth patch could well be the answer.

Brian,

You could buy a new cap or two and take them to a place that does work clothes embroidery and have them embroider the Ducati logo onto it.
They would need a clear colour picture of the logo.

Hi Brian. I bought one of these logos at Stafford last year. It had an iron on backing. Does this mean you are hanging up your Gold Star cap.

Hi George, I trust all is well with you. Thanks for the info re the patch, I maybe going to Stafford, will keep an eye out. I have the cap pictured, but it's well worn and faded, so thought I would treat myself to a new one. I had checked out Greame's suggestion re getting one embroidered, (Thanks Greame) but the initial programme would be quite expensive for a one off, I did wonder if there would be any interest if I had a few made ? He also said he could do tee shirts.
No I am not hanging up the Goldie cap, at least until I am unable to fire it up, but I must admit it seems to get heavier as each year passes.
