Thanks - I've been reading about people using a speaker inside the brake side of the wheel.
Perhaps I'll leave it alone and move the rim to the fork centre. But will 2mm make any difference, except esthetics?

No! But you may be able to move the bearings out slightly if they are sitting recessed in their housings and make up a longer spacer between them to take up the slack.

Just centre the wheel by placing spacers inside the brake plate and or the speedo drive plate ........but try to minimise spacing on the speedo drive plate side to maintain proper speedo drive gear engagement. Frankly as long as the wheel is give or take 1.5mm off centre you won't see it and you won't feel it.

I was looking at the speedo drive. With a 2.5mm spacer inside, the gears don't mate up like they should.
So, as I haven't laced the wheels yet, I'll probably just make an offset rim.
