Sorry, I realized you were searching out opinion for a race bike :) just throwing in my experience with fast road use rather than actual racing, in the day in Ireland we rode our bikes pretty hard, so hopefully still relevant 8-) .

I thought the CB160 used a 160mm plate but the 175 used the 180 brake plate. I could be (and quite likely am) wrong on that.


the CB 160 brakeplate fitted to a 180 mm Ducati front hub . brakestay is from a benelli 250 2C

fork is a 35 mm Marzocchi as fitted to the first series widecase Scramblers
