250 clutch cable end

Postby tonyduc » Sat Jun 26, 2021 4:33 pm

Hi
I’m having trouble fitting the right side case with the shifter box. The cable I bought had an open end so I bought a screw on type barrel. But it there’s not enough clearance to close the case, clutch arm needs to go in about 3/8”. I was thinking of a smaller type barrel that can be soldered to give more clearance- what did the stock end look like ?

Just back out the slotted screw adjuster on the clutch pressure plate to allow the clutch lever to move in to a better position.
Cheers,
George
