After getting frustrated with my kick start slipping, I ripped the engine back apart. I was thinking about adding the spring bridge, but then I saw that I would need to drill a hole in the case and chickened out. I figured I would try to find an alternative way to improve the spring return so started looking closely for ways to do that. Then I noticed... strangely enough... there is already a hole there for the bridge! At least I think that is what it is:
I put a screw in the threads and it is an M7.
I noticed that Nigel appears to be out of stock on the bridges. Is there anywhere else to acquire one along with the associated parts?
