Hi,
I recently aquired this Silentium silencer-its 38mm, would any body know what model this was initially fitted to?
Thanks
Bob

You might find it out here: http://www.italian-motorbikes.com/Pagina%20Inglese/1%20silenziatori%20inglese.htm, 10-003 or 10-010 ?
This company https://motostoricheitaliane.com/ducati/?orderby=date sells Silentium-likes, too.

Re: Any ideas?
I have one ,bought for a Mach1/M3 NC. Its too restrictive for a high tuned 250,the orriginal Mach1 Silentium had a bigger outlet I think. This is OK for a soft tune 250 or a 200.

Thanks for your replies-
Ill take the end cap off and compare the internal baffle arrangement with a genuine Mach1 Silentium. The internals may very well be the same, however, the end cap outlet is most definately different.
This silencer is at the moment on a Mach 1, the original is well dented underneath, im taking this to a fabrication/welding shop tomorrow to see what the cost will be to have it repaired, then have it replated. Guess ill have to sit down for the total price!
Cheers

Hi Bob , If you have an orriginal Mach1 silencer I would be very interested in hearing what are the differences to the new pattern one. May want to get mine altered. Currently running a Norton cheroot 1960 silencer from an early slimline. Fits fairly well and less restrictive.

Re: Any ideas?
Hi again,
Just dropped off the dented silencer at the welding shop, his price is acceptable, the ouch bit will be the plating.
So as not to confuse matters, the pic below is of another Mach 1 Silentium not the dented one..
If the inserted tube were to be removed both outlets are the same at 36mm- the shorter end cap is from the no idea silencer, this item is about 50mm longer in its main body.
Both baffles are exactly the same.
Hope this assists Bob.
Take care all, stay healthy-
