Postby graeme » Mon Apr 27, 2020 8:24 am

How do I open the parts manual for 450 in the Tech section ?
It's not a pdf

I 'see' your problem Graeme 8-) . Here's what I get ... (http://www.motoscrubs.com/Ducati_450_Gr ... ent_CI.htm)

Anything particular you're after? I would offer to scan the whole thing for you, but it's 30 odd pages :o.

Btw, it doesn't cover the late 450s, desmo or otherwise. That I have as well, tho' ... ;)

Ciao

Craig

Thank you Craig

For now only one thing.
Kick start,
On the shaft outside the case, inside the clutch cover.
Return spring, washer, distance piece (tube) then a “washer.”
Does it say what dimension the washer is ?
I’ll have to make one.

Thank you

Regards
Graeme

Many of the parts books and manual have gone from thr Motoscrubs tech section, forever. Read this:

I have a complete catalog for the early 450 models available, and one for the late 450D model, figures of chassis parts only and low resolution. I can send them by email, or place link for download.

Gentlemen,

Thank you all once again.
I have a section of the parts manual for 450 but it only has bodywork, wheels and the crankshaft assembly.

Thank you again

Thanks to amartina75 for sorting you out. It's good, this forum :D.

On this particular point, Graeme, you may have noticed that the kickstarter pages that amartina75 scanned are in fact common to all 3 sizes of engine - i.e for these bits, there's no separate parts manual for the 450.

Comment: The 450 kickstart lever is longer than the others. It has a different part no.

True, true, Hans :) . Good point - wouldn't want anyone to make the mistake that just because the parts book pages are common for all 3 models that the parts that are shown there are too!
