350 Forza electric starter

Can I ditch the ugly, heavy and possibly useless starter motor on my 350 Forza and stick on simple alternator cover from a 250/350?

You can fit the standard widecase clutch cover directly onto the early Forzas with no problems.
This is not possible on the later Forza motors, with the electric starter motor behind the cylinder barrel.( motors starting 432--)
These later motors use a longer crankshaft that will not fit inside the regular clutch cover.
