Reproductin VIN Tag

Postby gregwils » Mon Mar 25, 2019 12:29 pm

I am struggling getting a PA title because the existing VIN tag was blown off the bike when the prior owner power-washed it. I have possession of it, but it was bent up in the process and virtually illegible. I want to purchase a reproduction tag and a set of stamps to make a new one, but the eBay seller that had those items must have sold all their stock.

Does anyone know a source for the tags and stamps? Or anyone that makes them? I tried searching on VIN, but the site would not return a result because the word was considered too common. Thanks.

Hi Greg,

Here's a source for the badges: http://guzzino.com/dusifridba.html. I have not purchased one, myself, so I cannot comment on quality.

FWIW, there were some old discussion topics on this site regarding the use of typewriters to stamp the badges: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1626&hilit=typewriter

Hope this helps!
Jeff

Perfect. I checked Guzzino's site, but missed it. Thanks.
