Does anyone know what happened to Cosmopolitan Motors? Their website seems to have disappeared. :(

" Does anyone know what happened to Cosmopolitan Motors? "

____ I don't know exactly, but I've seen at least two eBay-sellers who seem to have taken-over the listing of the old Cosmo-stock.
If anyone cares, I could try to come-up with those seller-names (for possible contact to ask if they can tell what's-up).

I tried sending an email to Joe Purchock and also calling his phone number fro Vintage Cosmo and the email bounced back and the phone number was disconnected.

I also remember talking to Joe a couple of years ago and I seem to recall that he goes to China from December to March. He might have just shut down his operation, this time. Just speculating.

In the past, I had got some good parts from Joe, Dellorto parts, CEV keys, grips, etc. Seemed to have very fair prices and a nice guy to deal with.

____ Here follows a link to an eBay-listing by just one of at least two eBay-sellers who I've noticed seem to have their listings to be too similar to Vintage-Cosmo's eBay-listings.
Anyone who was familiar with Joe's eBay-listings, may want to take a look at some of the other items which this seller has listed on eBay and see if ya don't agree that their stuff is possibly more left-over Cosmo stock.

I noticed an ebay posting yesterday that even had "cosmopolitan motors" on a label in the picture.

I'm glad I bought what I did, when I did, though there were still more things I wanted to pick up from them...

Geez, I talked with him at the Carlisle Import - Kit/Replicar Show last May. Well , the time comes for everyone ... I just hope the best for him. Anyone with any word hopefully will post here. Bought parts years ago ,like 20 years ago ....returning from my absense with these bikes and now one of the last great suppliers has ?? hopefully just sold out for retirement..??

Just met Joe Purshock and bought some parts from him here in PA - Joe is alive and well.

If you need parts, he still has quite the stash of Benelli parts from Cosmo Motor Company.

He said it was ok to give out his email: joepurshock@gmail.com
