Kickstart lever for rear sets

Postby HMBAtrail » Mon Aug 21, 2017 4:05 pm

For those of you on bikes with rear sets, what kicker are you using? I have aftermarket rear sets with a folding foot peg but not a folding toe peg. I've done a search but didn't come up with anything definitive.

Thanks,
Tim

That would not work for me, lever too short and too close to the fixed? footrest, too easy to hurt yourself.

Were stock kickers on bikes with rear sets more curved and were located behind the foot peg?

Here http://roadandrace.com.au/cat14.htm you can see the "bowed" levers for the rear sets (2nd and 3rd from top, right).

cheers Hans

I bent the stock part and trimmed the toe piece on the rearset lever.

Why not just fit a folding foot peg as well?

I do have a folding foot peg. Just not a folding toe peg.

Listing on Ebay for one of the Mark3/Mach1 kick start levers to go with rearsets. Not my listing and I provide it just as information.
