Ducati narrowcase ignition?
Wonder if anyone has had experience of Electrex or HPI race only ignition systems on narrowcase motors? I am getting the feeling that an inductive or Interspan system is likely to work better than CDI types?

Re: Ducati narrowcase ignition?
i build some motocross Ducati singles and fitted a HPI inner rotor ignition . my 472 single is a one kick starter .
the only problem is you need to turn down the crankshaft . i did not dare to make the inside of the rotor bigger .
modified BSA single ignition with home made adaptor plate .
turned down the original dynamo rotor for some added flywheel mass . the holes are there to check the timing marks .
