N/C 250 Motorscross (Scrambler) Seat

Does anyone have a source for the early N/C 250 Motocross (Scrambler) seats or seat bases? My 1965 bike came to me with the late model W/C seat and I'l like to find an original style one.

This is my bike currently with the W/C seat.

I posted a very rough one on eBay Sunday. It needs several cracks fixed and everything else. It would be a lot of work.

I've only seen a handful sell on eBay in the last 6-7 years they usually bring a hefty price.

I'm not trying to get you to buy mine. Hopefully someone has a better one for you. They are hard to come buy. As far as I know a reproduction has never been made.

I'm sure another one will pop up eventually you just have to be patient and always looking.

Have a look on roncariselle.com. They make some seats with the pressed sheet metal bases like on the NC scrambler.

Though not original that later seat is a great mod for taller riders and looks great.
