Need help identifying rear hub

I am currently working on a Monza Junior with the Series 1 rounded bodywork. I wanted to upgrade to 17" rims front and back to increase the height a bit and found a nice old alloy rim with rear hub and brake on eBay. Below is a picture. The hub appears similar to the stock Ducati item but the cush drive/sprocket carrier has dual sprockets mounted. I assume this is for offroading. So, is this hub from a scrambler? If not, anyone else know what it may have come from?

If it’s a 17” rim, it’s likely a Benelli wheel with an alloy Sanremo rim. The hubs look very similar to the hub used on 250/350 Ducatis, but I seem to recall there are some detail difference. Brake plate/brake cable attachment? I’ve never seen a dual sprocket arrangement like that but you can remove it and use one sprocket. Matt

Thanks for the reply, double diamond. It is a 17" rim so I will start looking at Benellis for comparison. The lack of a cable guide seems to point that maybe this isn't a Ducati part as well. I can't find any Ducati rea brake plates missing this. The only other dual sprocket carrier I've ever seen was on a Honda Trail 90 (smaller for street and larger for trail).

That looks like the San Remo rims I've seen on the 60's Benelli road bikes

I had a rear hub like that, bought it off eBay cheap it was nos and very nice only problem was no brake plate. They are really close to the hubs on a Ducati but the brake plates are not interchangeable. The sprocket carrier/cush drive is though.

Thanks, amartina75. The brake plate on the link you posted is definitely similar but has some minor differences (no relief cut between axle and stay, no raised portion between axle and linkage). The sprocket carrier is a little different too, I think. The one I have has sprockets mounted side by side as opposed to the smaller one nestled inside the larger. The plot thickens...
