My basket case came with no sprockets. I'm getting near the finish line and need to but some sprockets. Can anybody tell me what the stock gearing was? Or perhaps, can any of you who have been running your 160's for a while tell me what gearing you have been using?
Many Thanks

Re: 160 Monza Jr Gearing
The parts manual lists a 46 tooth sprocket at the wheel, and both 16 and 17 tooth sprockets at the transmission.
From the owner's manual:
"The transmission between the gearbox and the rear wheel is made by means of a chain and the speed ratio is 2.875:1."
The 46/16 combination would be a 2.875:1 ratio, so it looks like the factory used the 46/16 pair.

Re: 160 Monza Jr Gearing
You're welcome- in case you're wondering about the chain, the manual shows:
"Chain 1/2” x 3/16” - R. roller Ø 8,51 - links n. 115"
The 1/2"x3/16" doesn't fit the way chain is specified today, but the 8.51 diameter roller would be a 428 chain, 115 links.
The 3/16" must be the diameter of the pin fixed into the side plates.
