Hi Graeme
oilpump cover is a Mototrans item . it weights 145 gram less then a Italian cover .
it looks like a 160 cc Monza junior cover but it dont have a steel tube cast into it for the cilinderhead oil feed
selectorbox cover is Monza junior with widecase 5 speed internals .

I see you have a nice 627 Amal. Are you using a manifold or bolting to the spacer? I would like to run one on my 250. Thanks

Hi
The carb was bolted to the 1/4 rubber spacer and I used a velocity stack to reach the rubber tube , the stack had to be slash cut and positioned at an angle to match up to the filter rubber and also look acceptable. This did give some issues with the setting up of the carb as only the slide aperture was drawing through the filter and not the two pilot circuit outlet holes either side of the slide location slot in the bottom of the carburetter bore.

Re: 250 street scrambler
I'm relatively new here and just read thru this entire thread. All I can say is superb work, Sam. I wish I had the fab tools in my shop that you have in yours. The muffler you made is the stuff I would love to be able to do. Nice to see others doing it.
Bike looks gorgeous. I'm sure it's going to run as good or better than it looks.
regards,
Rob
