New Spokes & Rims for 250 Monza

Postby halfpast » Mon Mar 28, 2016 12:22 pm

Hi all,

Looking to replace my original Radaelli rims and spokes which are pretty rusty. I was thinking a pair of alloy rims would be nice to reduce weight...any recommendations?

Thanks!

Unless you want to spend a whole lot of money I'd recommend these for rims.

Buchanons for spokes $100 a set so not cheap, are yours really bad? The originals can be repainted and nipples buffed up to look just fine.

If you do replace your rims and spokes I might be interested in buying the old parts if they are still serviceable.

Good luck

I just bought some Chinese akront high lip copies for $88 each on eBay wm1x18. Buchanan has stainless spoke kits for $100 per wheel. Both look very nice.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have a really big area where I can pull off the wheels and work on them, otherwise I'd probably do that instead of buying new parts. Still haven't fully decided, though.
