thanks gt, ive got the tab on one side but not the other, will probably repair to std as i have a mig so doable if i can source the right tube and get it bent or find a frame loop someones cut off a racer.

Camshaft-model Identification
____ From the picture, I can only be sure that it's either a n-c.Scrambler or Monza cam-model. _ To tell the difference between those two possibilities, the cam-lobe measurements would have-to be miked.bodge wrote:cam from the 250,any ideas?
The lobe-height figures for the n-c.Scr cam.model are 7.8mm -(in) and 7.6mm -(ex),, and that of the n-c.Monza cam.model is .2 ~ .1mm less, (being about .005" to .009" shorter lobe-peaks [above their base-circles]).
(You need a 2-inch micrometer to attain the base-circle to lobe-peak measurement.)

____ Providing that you successfully measured the absolute minimum base-circle and maximum overall base-circle to lobe-peak cam-spacing (as found on the unworn edge of each lobe), and your verniers are trustworthy of measuring under .1mm increments,, then your camshaft must be a Scrambler-cam.model, (as no Monza-cam has an intake-lobe that exceeds 7.65mm) !
