Hi All
I have been looking at the forum for awhile now, and I am very impressed with the vast amount of knowledge on the site, as I am in need of some I thought it was time I joined. I am a retired engineer and have had passion for Italian motorcycles since my schooldays, my first motorcycle being a 175cc FB Mondial Sprint in 1961. I am at present rebuilding a 1959 Ducati 200SS. It was supplied new in the USA, and at some point arrived in England. It has the I/D plate on the head stock, which is only partially legible, and will be the subject of my first question if this post has been successful.

Hi Brian,
Welcome to the forum ! It would be great to see some pics of you bike. Can you share the numbers on the engine and frame if you have them ? Just curious.

Hi Tony, Thanks for the welcome. I have posted this picture as a test run. It is my Mondial and my mates Ducati Silverstone taken in 1961. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of my 200SS in a complete state, I took some before it was totally stripped down, but my camera was stolen before I had a chance to download them. I will sort some pictures of the numbers and post in a new thread.
