I remember those youthful days well, frost on the ground, K Mart tents,Stones Green Ginger Wine and filthy bikes.

Maybe it was the weight of the indicators?

Yeah, they were pretty ugly, those Yamaha indicators

Here's another photo of the 1983 Alpine. The photo is near the Rules Point turnoff the Alpine Highway. I think that year we turned round and had to go in via Canberra.

Yeah, those were the days, I'm glad they're over!
