350 NC special

One for the album, this is my 350 narrowcase non desmo,it dates from about 67/68 & is probably from the ill-fated Berliner shipment,it was UK registered in 1971 & been thro a few changes since then.Apart from the obvious bodywork, it has a period "Mick Walker" silencer & an Amal 932 concentric carb which were I believe offered as a tuning kit by the official UK importer (Mick Walker) during the early 1970's, the front drum brake has also had some major venting carried out,the brake itself a twin leading shoe looks to be of japanese origin.Performance wise I can only compare this to my last british bike which I sold a few months prior to obtaining the duc,my arthritic knees & hips dictated that I either gave up motorcycling or bought something light weight & more suited to my advancing years, having owned previously bevel-twin & rubberband driven ducs this was the obvious answer, weighing in at about 100lbs lighter & giving out more power than my old velocette venom clubman rep the duc certainly gives more smiles per gallon, all the best everyone, mike b,sunny Devon,UK.
