I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here over the years (mostly for mountain bike racing), and yes, I've had some messy nights here too.
It's full of cougers now though :-/
They do have wifi though, which means I can watch the mountain biking world champs tonight on my netbook.

Re: Moto Giro Australia

Re: Moto Giro Australia
So proud of this old thing. I wrung its neck for over 4000kms in 11 days, hussled the bigger bikes, rode into a ditch at 50mph (saved it) and with the exception of a battery explosion, she didn't miss a beat!

Huge thanks to you Graeme for your help over the weekend too!

You washed it?
Battery in question

Some other pictures

Ever seen a rear brake plate on a shotgun explode?
It left a trail of alloy, springs and brake shoes.

And I would gladly pay $150 to go to the Circus and see Octain ride the Mach 1 in the ditch and ride out again without even stopping to empty his undies.... Bravo!
350 paralized twin got huge air when it ran over a freshly killed roo.....
Octain and the Mach 1 were exceptional,,,, I don't know how many kilometres they did but that little bike rode about 2000ks to get there, then 5 very hard fast days, then rode home again!
Showed many bigger bikes and the odd Imprezza what a good Mach 1 can do.

Re: Moto Giro Australia
Dates are confirmed for the 2014 event. 6-10th August.
I''ll probably be riding up again from Sydney to do all 5 days. Anyone else going this year?
