Re: Looking for a set of triple trees

Thanks for that. Is there a resource anywhere that lists triples by c-t-c, stem diameter and length, etc? Or is there a list of triples that bolt up to a wide case? Or, on the chance someone has a set of triples that fit the bill and they are looking to unload them? 180mm c-t-c, 35mm stanchions, fla...

Looking for a set of triple trees

All, I'm in search of a set of triples for a race project I'm working on. I have a Ceriani GP35 fork paired with a Ceriani 4LS hub. The standard 170mm wide triples are not wide enough for the hub (the brake arm rods foul on the fork lowers. A 180mm (or even 190) would work quite well. Likely 60mm of...

Race shocks. What are you using?

I need a recommendation on race shocks! Wide case 350 race bike. I'm bouncing back and forth on what shocks to go with. The stated eye-to-eye measurement for the original shocks is 12" but the bike seems a bit too squat in the rear for my liking at that length. I have a Ceriani fork with the st...

Re: 125 desmo

According to Falloon, the duplex cradle frame for the 125 desmo was developed mid-1957 for Spaggiari. The double cradle frames continued for 1958.

Not sure if that helps you or not but there you go.

Re: Race tires 250 ducati

I race the Conti RoadAttack 2 CR on my 350 Honda, my 350 Ducati, and my 250 Ducati.

You can get them in 100/90/18 and 110/80/18. They are wonderful tires.

What size carb have you all used

350 wide case race bike. 40/36mm valves. High compression Omega race piston. That whomper of a 277 profile cam. Building a custom exhaust but will be 1.5" ID pipe with a 16" Cone Performance Max Performance reverse meg. So, armed with that info, what have you folks seen for carb size? Spec...

Can I remove the timing gear

i'm building up a 350 wide case race bike. The ignition timing is via the crank courtesy of the Electrex STK-168D ignition system. Since I'm no longer using the cam for timing, do I need the timing gear at all? Can I remove or if I do will the oil pump gear get wobbly?

Re: Location for external oil lines

Matt,
Thanks so much for the in depth description. What size oil lines did you use for the returns into the timing case? And what size AN fittings did you use? Pics would be AMAZING.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write out such a thorough response.

Location for external oil lines

I know there were some discussions on this several years back but I never saw anything definitive on location of the external oil lines. I'm building up a 350 for race season and I've heard this is a modification worth making. So, where do the fore and aft drain lines on the head go? Looking at phot...
