Re: Getting closer

I read the warnings as well. I used engineers blue mark up dye and painted the end of the idler gear/pump drive. Then bolted everything up to make sure there was clearance. All seems well.

Re: Getting closer

Motor is buttoned up. Just a few odds and ends to sort out and I can turn my attention to the other things needing sorting on this. Frame and a pile of small items are at powdercoat. All the plastics are off at paint. Spent plenty of time hunkered over the dial indicator getting the shimming correct...

Re: Looking for a cam bearing cap

It matters not a whit to me on which one. It is going to get drilled and tapped so whichever one you want to part with the most is fine with me. I will send you a PM.

Looking for a cam bearing cap

Anyone have a cam bearing cap they want to sell? I'm not looking for a pristine one as I'm tapping it for an external oil feed. My 350 cap is in pretty good shape so it seems a shame to destroy it by drilling and tapping.

Let me know yeah?

Re: Getting closer

It's a Ceriani 4LS. But in the photo the brake plates aren't on the bike.

Getting closer

Hustling to get the bike ready for the Midwest rounds of WI and MI as well as Mid-Ohio and maybe a couple Wera races. 350 motor in a 450 frame. Misano head. Piper 277 cam. Omega piston. Straight cut primary gears. Ceriani replica GP35 fork and 4LS front brake. Plastics are from Airtech and a small m...

Re: vertical bevel shaft lengths

Are these measurements from the underside of the top bevel gear to the end of the shaft or the total bevel shaft including the gear? And I'm assuming this is the measurement for just the upper bevel shaft and not the lower? Aren't all the wide case lower shafts the same length?

Spark plug options

For a 350 with a dual plug setup, what plug options are you fellers going with? Yeah, I know it’s very bike specific but a baseline (primarily for the second plug) would be appreciated. For what it matters, Omega hi Comp Piston, Lacey 277 cam, coil springs, 7mm 40/36 valves, Electrexworld crank moun...
