This has happened to me many years ago with a Pantah and a NCR type tank. Strip the carbs and clean and ...

Pull in the clutch lever and kick it through compression a few time until the clutch frees and the kick start lever is free. Start the engine, warm it up with the clutch lever in to let it free up some more. Then ride away...

Don’t give up. There is much satisfaction to come once you get it sorted.

Re: Getting closer

You won’t have trouble with Nigel’s pumps or parts I asked because I fitted a high volume pump and (my fault) didn’t understand the fitting advice.. Because the New pump is wider it was compressed when I fitted the right cover. I posted here some years ago re this as a warning to others. Didn’t want...

Re: Decent rear shocks ?

Hello John I’ve heard that Ikon are not the same quality that Koni were. I had planned to buy a pair until I heard that from a few people. Hello Jon, I bought a new pair of Hagon shocks for a Commando, the first 20 to 30mm they are good the they are very hard. And that is on a heavy bike. I hear wha...

Decent rear shocks ?

The best shocks I have used on a single are Koni.
Tried hagon, yss and other cheaper brands but all too hard so far.
Don’t want to spend thousands on big name brands and can’t afford that.
Suggestions?
