Re: crankcase wont split

Don’t give up. There is much satisfaction to come once you get it sorted.

Re: Getting closer

You won’t have trouble with Nigel’s pumps or parts I asked because I fitted a high volume pump and (my fault) didn’t understand the fitting advice.. Because the New pump is wider it was compressed when I fitted the right cover. I posted here some years ago re this as a warning to others. Didn’t want...

Re: Decent rear shocks ?

Hello John I’ve heard that Ikon are not the same quality that Koni were. I had planned to buy a pair until I heard that from a few people. Hello Jon, I bought a new pair of Hagon shocks for a Commando, the first 20 to 30mm they are good the they are very hard. And that is on a heavy bike. I hear wha...

Decent rear shocks ?

The best shocks I have used on a single are Koni.
Tried hagon, yss and other cheaper brands but all too hard so far.
Don’t want to spend thousands on big name brands and can’t afford that.
Suggestions?

Hello Eldert, Yes moved from Brisbane to Tasmania, much cooler and less people. Big shed but so far very little time to enjoy it. We lived in the shed until we built the house. Still have the standard RT, Scrambler, and the ‘74 Desmo as well as another Desmo that is waiting to be built and go into a...

Re: Any resto's going this winter?

Looking good Eldert,

Time gets away doesn’t it.

Scrambler front hud and brake to stop better than the poor RT brake.
Still the 21 inch front rim? It’s hard to tell from the picture.
RT swing arm or longer Scrambler?
