Re: Sprocket Warning

I bought a sprocket from a "prominent" dealer as well. Mine had no spiral and on top of that the boss was under size as well. Big time leaker. I took that one and turned a brass sleeve on my lathe, press fit it in place and turned to the proper diameter WITH the correct rotation oil groove...

Re: End of restorarion shifting problems

No, it is much easier / cheaper to rent a bike from Admo and not have to worry about all the trans and shipping issues.
One of these days when my travel budget allows I will bring my bike over.

Re: End of restorarion shifting problems

California central coast, Morro Rock is the back drop. About 180 mile ride south down the coast from home. I had the pleasure of riding around Ireland last June. You have some beautiful roads and scenery as well. I'll be back this year for Isle of Mann and will be using Dublin as a start stop point ...

Re: End of restorarion shifting problems

You may really like the pipe as built. When I got mine done the Megaphone just looked too plain and straight.
So........... the simple fix was to cut it up and rotate across under the bike. I was able to keep the same cone and header pipe length. made it look a lot more race like.

Re: 160 Monza Jr - battery hold-down

I have a couple that I Laser cut for my 250. From the picture it "looks" like it will fit your tray. It is NOT the original design, and is SST, but looks nice and has held my battery in place with no issues. I can send you one no charge if you like. Take a look at the attached picture and ...

Re: Street Singles?

My 250 started life as a Scrambler. It has been a Hill Climber, Desert racer, Trails bike. Back in 1966 we rode what we had in just about every kind of event. No specialized bikes really back then when we were kids. The picture is from Carnegie Park hill climbs in 1967. My dad riding up against an O...

Re: Street Singles?

Never had an issue with the pipe or excess noise. I am not "the type" to be revving the bike while splitting lanes. My point is just to keep moving. Never even thought about trying to quite it down, I like the sound. Bike has won best sounding Ducati in both two valve and overall at MotoGP...

Re: Street Singles?

Whenever I ride my single it is always the only one I see. I live in the South San Francisco bay area and commute to work a couple times a month on the bike. Given our horrible traffic it is a great lane splitting bike. Narrow bars and wide open megaphone make it pretty easy in traffic. I routinely ...
